Handmade Crocheted Baby Items - Unique Contemporary Designs

Baby Adore specialise in creating beautiful hand-crocheted products for babies. Our items are unique contemporary designs of baby blankets, shawls, booties and clothing using good quality machine-washable yarns.

Each piece we produce is meticulusly hand-crafted to ensure the best possible finish and a quality product that will stay beautiful.

Baby Shawls

Our baby shawls are crocheted in a high quality double knit yarn suitable for babies. These shawls are beautiful as swaddling blankets, and look amazing in photographs of your loved ones.

The shawls are quite large, measuring approximately 90cm x 90cm, so are very versatile; and are available in a range of traditional soft baby colours like baby blue, baby pink, cream and white.

Some are finished in a fringe and complimented with colour co-ordinated double-sided satin ribbon (note: all ribbons are not "sewn-in" so can be removed as you prefer).

They make a beautiful unique gifts for a friend's or family's new additions, and are long lasting so they can be passed down the family for future generations.

PomPom Blankets

These PomPom blankets have a fantastic feel, so thick and soft. They are a gorgeous alternative to a quilt for a crib, pram or Moses basket.

The special PomPom yarn we use creates a completely different texture to blankets made with a traditional yarn - imagine a blanket made from hundreds of cotton wool balls joined together. They are available in a variety of different colours; including a succulent white, subtle shades of pink or blue, and multi-colour combinations. 

To add our own personal finish, we complete the look by attaching a complimentary crocheted edging trim.

Baby Garments/Clothing

A collection of clothing items for boys and girls, including jackets, cardigans and ponchos for babies up to 24 months. All created in high quality machine-washable yarns so they stay beautiful for longer.

Every piece is completely unique, as no patterns are followed just a firm image in the designer's mind. Most of the items are of a contemporary design and all are finshed to a high standard.

The finer details are very important, and the choice of buttons, trims and embellishments make all the difference.

Baby Booties

Our baby booties make a perfect small gift for a newborn, either on it's own or as part of a set to match our garments.

Available in a variety of different sizes, colours and designs. They are often combined with matching mittens and garments to make an ideal ensemble set.

Each pair of booties is presented in a neatly wrapped cellophane parcel.

Where to find us?

Whilst we are planning to add an online store to this web site in the near future, our products are currently only available through our stalls at various markets and crafts fairs in, and around, Kent and the South-east of England.
